Meredith Salenger
Salenger was born and raised within Malibu, California. Her passion for acting was performing in front of her loved ones and relatives as a young child. She was taken by her mother to her first acting class when she was eight years old. In John Huston's film Annie in which she was a small role in which she was called a "singing and dancing orphan". Salenger has also been featured in some commercials on television. Salenger played her first lead part for the lead role in The Journey of Natty Gann, an iconic Disney movie that starred John Cusack with Ray Wise. The film was the first US film to receive the Gold Award at the Moscow Film Festival. Also, she took home "Best Female actor in a dramatic" at the Youth in Film Awards in honor of her role in the charming Natty. In her early 20s, she also acted in four movies, including A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. After that she went to Harvard in order to further her studies.
