Srushti began to prepare herself for the UPSC examination during her 3rd year as an engineering student. She was unsure if engineering is the best career choice for her. Eventually, she realised that civil services was her passion and devoted herself to it. Her parents urged her to concentrate on civil rights and get an employment that would benefit the general people. Her motivation was never lost and she determined to become an IAS Officer. To be able to pass UPSC takes more work. She was also preparing for UPSC exams while studying engineering. She set aside time for examination preparation each day. In less than a month and half the time, she was preparing for her exam in engineering as well as completely avoiding social media. Her belief is that staying focused only on the work at hand is key to passing this exam. She aimed to pass this exam in the first try and has put in lots of hard work. To keep up to date with recent events, she used to regularly browse through the papers. Also, she received a lot of help online collecting different study materials and viewing Rajya Sabha TV. It is an excellent book to IAS applicants who work hard for this exam.
