Yael stone, a New York City based Australian resident, was the character Lorna Morello on Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael was awarded her NIDA degree. Yael despite her youthful age, has had the privilege of learning from Australia's most renowned storytellers. Yael is an internationally acclaimed actor in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's new life in New York City began when the production received a prestigious review at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael founded The Cannery with her co-founders. The Cannery is an Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery is a place to promote new writing, innovative creative projects, and supports the development of young writers.
